Such a niche corner of the Internet. I love this side of Caroline Polachek as well as Pang! Although I do wish Ramona Lisa released a second album!
I just stumbled upon her today and know little to nothing abt her. Is she going to release more music anytime in the future or no? It seems like this is a very old album
@Jesse Suny6 Ramona Lisa/Arcadia was more of a Caroline Polachek side project back in 2010 while she was still in her band (Chairlift) before they broke up (in good terms) in 2017. Now she's gone full-on solo. Last year she released "Pang" under her real name, so she's still active! You should check it out as well as the music videos, it's pretty great.
I almost think what she's producing now is really supported by the sonic melding of pop and what caroline her self enjoys sonically which i think at times rings so experimental but of course so incredibly her
